🌟 Useable Art: Transforming Everyday Items into Masterpieces! ♻️

Join us for an inspiring art program tailored for creative minds aged 5 -12! With a focus on recycling and up-cycling, each week brings new opportunities to breathe life into ordinary objects and turn them into functional works of art.

🌸 Week 1: Dive into the world of botanical beauty as students paint ceramic or terracotta flower pots and craft exquisite paper flowers to adorn them. Sparking creativity and fine motor skills, this project fosters an appreciation for nature’s wonders!

♻️ Week 2: Discover the magic of recycling! Students will repurpose cardboard tubes into personalized desk caddies, honing spatial awareness and environmental consciousness while adding their unique touch with decorative elements.

🎨 Week 3 & 4: Unleash creativity with original artwork! Through oil pastel techniques and cardboard frame crafting, students explore colour blending, composition, and the presentation of their art piece in their newly crafted frame.

👜 Week 5 & 6: Expressive art meets functionality! Using fabric paint, students design their own tote bags and hand-painted cloth napkin sets, mastering colour theory and pattern creation while creating practical pieces for everyday use.

✉️ Week 7: Share the joy of handmade cards! Students delve into design elements such as colour, texture, and composition, crafting personalized cards that reflect their individuality.

🍽️ Week 8: Transform dinner plates into unique artworks! Encouraging artistic expression and planning skills, students up-cycle dinnerware with various art materials, fostering a deeper understanding of colour theory and execution.
